Week 17 Lesson's 5/29-6/1

Hello...this is Miss Howard, again! Great job last week, almost everyone turned in the Polyphemus poem completed and on time. You are capable of this standard of excellence all the time. We will begin your last major project of the year this week, "Create Your Own God/Goddess", which will be due the June 4th. On Thursday and Friday is the District In-Class Essay, which is also a class assignment for points. Make sure to continue working hard as we finish out the year.
Please check the Aries program for your grade; if you are not satisfied with your grade and want to work to raise it, you need to see Mr. Cyrus before Thursday.

Odyssey Week 16 Lessons 5/21-5/25, 2007

Hello... this is Miss Howard this week! We have begun the Odyssey and will continue to discuss the themes and ideas of Homer for the remainder of the semester. On Monday, we will begin a new project, in which you will be writing your own narrative poem. This project is due Friday and I will not be accepting late work. If you are one of my readers that is behind on reading points- see Mr. Cyrus or I to make up these points.
