Last Quarter week 17's lessons 5/27 - 5/30 - 2008

Please make sure you check you grade and it is right, everything you have done should be recorded including extra credit; if there is a problem see me. Start reviewing this year's idioms, vocabulary, literary terms for your final. As always if you have questions or problems please see me. For extra credit you may print your grade from Aeries Tuesday night after all the poems are recorded (third period everything is recorded) and have your parents write me a note that they understand your grade - also signature and print their name (both or no credit). This is due Wednesday before the warning bell.

4th Quarter's lesson 5/5 - 5/9 - 2008 - Week 14

Greetings! I, Miss Takeda, am writing my first blog to you. Over the course of the Romeo and Juliet unit there was adequate participation. However, for the final six weeks of the school year I expect much more participation. I'm not letting you go yet!! This week we will be starting The Odyssey. It's a great story that I anticipate you will enjoy. Your first big project in The Odyssey will be the "Ployphemus Poem". For Extra Credit: Answer questions 1-8 on pg. 914. This assignment will only be accepted if you have completed and turned in your Polyphemus Poem. The extra credit is due on Monday 5/12 after class.
