4th Quarter's lesson 5/5 - 5/9 - 2008 - Week 14

Greetings! I, Miss Takeda, am writing my first blog to you. Over the course of the Romeo and Juliet unit there was adequate participation. However, for the final six weeks of the school year I expect much more participation. I'm not letting you go yet!! This week we will be starting The Odyssey. It's a great story that I anticipate you will enjoy. Your first big project in The Odyssey will be the "Ployphemus Poem". For Extra Credit: Answer questions 1-8 on pg. 914. This assignment will only be accepted if you have completed and turned in your Polyphemus Poem. The extra credit is due on Monday 5/12 after class.

4. Read "Homer’s World" (Pages 887-889) and "The Epic" (Pages 890-891)
