Wednesday 1/28
1. Grade Vocabulary and explain extra credit vocabulary cards
2. Discuss Idioms and three subject spiral notebook
3. Start in class discussion of “The Wreck of the Hesperus” pages 124-130
4. Work on Portfolio - all first semester work recorded and folder decorated

Thursday 1/29
1. Discuss and do in class Analogies “lesson 3” page 128
2. Read and discuss "The Wreck of the Hesperus"
3. Do Vocabulary Lesson3, Exercise 1 and 2 pages 155 – 160 (40 points-homework)

Friday 1/30
1. Grade Vocabulary
2. Read and discuss “The Wreck of the Hesperus”
3. “The Wreck of the Hesperus” Packet (homework) Due Tuesday
4. Study for Vocabulary Test Monday
