You now should be able to analyze interactions between main and subordinate characters in literature (e.g., internal and external conflicts, motivations, relationships) and explain the way those interactions affect the plot.

2. Listen to CD and take notes on "Attitude" (ten points in speech)
3. Read and discuss "Charming Billy"
4. "Charming Billy" Packet (homework)

Thursday 10/19
1. Pre-test vocabulary
2. In collective learning groups - Do Vocab Lab 1 Focus on: Analogies
3. Read and discuss "Charming Billy"
4. Study for Unit 4 Vocabulary test and finish your "Billy" packet

Friday 10/20
1. Unit 4 Vocabulary Test
2. Finish Reading "Where Have You Gone Charming Billy"
3. Review "Billy" Packet
4. Do Spelling pages 187 - 190 in your orange vocabulary book (homework 55 points)
